Daniel Hölzl Resident, April 2026

Daniel Hölzl is the first artist in residence at Doble Erre. This is the fourth time we work together; a relationship that began through Ventana Project and continues to deepen.

Over three weeks in April, Daniel develops a new body of work across the full space: from the patio to the gallery. The works engage with fishing lines, ropes, and sailing hardware as sculptural material, tools borrowed from systems of extraction and transit, recomposed into installations that test the thresholds between object and environment.

The residency closes on 18 April with an open studio.

In parallel, Daniel participates in MAYRIT, presenting By Catch —— a large installation shown as part of the programme.
