ABOUT
Doble Erre is a hybrid space where contemporary creation takes multiple forms. It hosts exhibitions, workshops, design and technology projects, and community-based initiatives; a place designed for things to happen.
The space functions as both a platform and a working studio, producing exhibitions, workshops, DJ sets, brand events, photoshoots, and intimate gatherings.
It also serves as the permanent atelier of Roberto Rivadeneira, together with other resident artists, fostering collaboration across disciplines and formats.
Located in the center of Usera, Madrid, just ten minutes from Matadero and Madrid Río, Doble Erre acts as a node for creative exchange within an international network.
Team
Doble Erre is run by a core team that coordinates the program, space management, and overall activities.
Two resident artists have permanent studios within the space, contributing to the daily life and creative ecosystem of Doble Erre.
Throughout the year, the space also hosts invitation-only residencies focused on contemporary creation and experimental processes.
